Every year we are involved in fun side projects where we get to design elements for our friend’s events, tables, or side projects. This year we’ve decide to post some of our favorites.
Photos 1-2: We designed this serving table for our friends at Justin Thompson Catering (then 624 Catering) for Big Brother’s Big Sister’s Taste of Tulsa Gala on April 13, 2019.
Photos 3-5: We designed this serving table for our friends at Justin Thompson Catering for the Tulsa Zoo’s WALTZ on the Wild Side on June 21, 2019. The theme was Mardi Gras. Thank you to Party Pro for the green runner and Emily Bolusky for the birdcages.
Photos 6-7: We designed this serving table for our friends at Justin Thompson Catering for TU Uncorked on June 14, 2019. This one was so much fun to create. We wish we had more pictures. Based on the event marketing the event was going to have a vintage, postcard aesthetic. So, we went to an antique store and found an old TU yearbook, some postcards and some vintage, faux Frankoma Golden Driller desk ornaments. We copied some of the pictures from the yearbook onto silver and gold paper, mixed in in with the postcards and made a runner for the front of the table.
Photos 8-12: This baby shower was for a close family member for her second child. Her sister showed Chelsea the beautiful turquoise, lavender and yellow floral mobile (in photo 11) Mom was making for her daughter and Chelsea based her simple shower design off of it so the family could use the decor in the nursery after the shower.
